Due to a cattle ranch leasing land to a spinach farmer there was bad spread of infection that reached all crops. There was over 199 infections and 3 deaths, and 31 kidney failures. Dole recalled all of its bagged spinach. This took place in 26 states across the US.

Salmonella Outbreak in meat
Cargill Production recalled 36 million pounds of ground turkey after discovering that they had an infection that was resistant to antibiotics. There was a total of 79 illnesses in 26 states and only one death.
