Triangle Shirtwaist Fire
This is a fire that broke out on top of the building and women were locked in the top 10 floors and couldn't get out. Many women starting jumping out the windows to their death. 146 people died that day and most of them were women. -
Election of 1912
This was a bitter contest between Wilson, Roosevelt, and Taft. Wilson ended up winning because Roosevelt and Taft couldn't decide who would run. Roosevelt made his own party, the Bull Moose Party or also known as the Progressive Party. -
