    It was founded by Booker T Washington. The purpose was to train teachers and provided academic and vocational training.

    This upheld the Constitution of racial segregation laws for public facilities as long as they were equal inequality.
  • Meat Inspection Act

    This act makes it a crime to adulterate or misbrand meat and meat products being sold as food. Ensures that all meat slaughtered and processed under sanitary conditions.
  • NAACP Found

    NAACP Found
    This was to secure the political, educational, social, and economic equality to rights in order to eliminate race and ensure the health and well-being of all persons.
  • Triangle Shirtwaist Fire

    Triangle Shirtwaist Fire
    This is a fire that broke out on top of the building and women were locked in the top 10 floors and couldn't get out. Many women starting jumping out the windows to their death. 146 people died that day and most of them were women.
  • Election of 1912

    This was a bitter contest between Wilson, Roosevelt, and Taft. Wilson ended up winning because Roosevelt and Taft couldn't decide who would run. Roosevelt made his own party, the Bull Moose Party or also known as the Progressive Party.
