Meat Inspection Act of 1906
The meat inspection act is an american law that makes it a crime if an inspector doesn't come in and check the place where the meat is processed to make sure everything meets the sanitary means. I think this falls under promoting moral improvement. I think this belongs to protecting social welfare, because it helped make sure that the meat was clean and ready for the people to eat
