    Act was made to fund irrigation land to 20 arid states of American west, this is part of fostering efficiency, since it was placed to benefit the land.
  • Created Department of Commerce and Labor

    The department was created to regulate business and fix problems quietly without problems so they did not have to break up the trusts. This is part of fostering efficiency because companies could still be allowed to operate without major conflict.
  • Northern Securities v. United States

    Government over time is starting to have more and more control over companies. This relates to creating economic reform because the government wants to be able to regulate business so they could be involved
  • United States Forest Service

    Service was formed to access quality and conditions of forests in United States, this is part of the goal of moral improvement since it helps protect America´s forests.
  • Meat Inspection Act

    Required federal inspection of meat sold through interstate commerce and required the Agriculture Department to set standards of cleanliness in meatpacking plants. This promoted moral improvement because it was there for the safety of people.
  • Bureau of Mines

    Agency made to conduct scientific research, and disseminating information on the extraction, processing, use, and conservation of mineral resources. This is a fostering efficiency goal because it helped America become more informed on the mineral resources of the country.
  • Children´s Bureau

    Bureau was made to investigate welfare of children, pertaining to health, living, safety, and the situations of children. This is under the social welfare goal because it is there to help children.
  • System of National Parks

    System is responsible national parks and monuments managed by the Department of the Interior, to conserve the nation´s natural and cultural heritage for the benefit of current and future generations. This is a goal of promoting moral improvement because it was put in place for the history and current aspects of the parks.
  • Food and Drug Administration

    The Food administration encouraged civilians to conserve food and grow their own vegetables and save certain foods for the allies and army. This is fostering efficiency because it would benefit the government and the army in the consumption of food.
