SAT/ACT Test
The accuplacer tests are no longer being offered as an accepted exam in to the TEP. The Praxis exam, the ACT, or the SAT are now the acceptable admission test options. My ACT scores are more than five years old, therefore I will be retaking the ACT this summer. -
Admissions Application
I plan on applying to the Teacher Education Program in Fall 2019. Along with the application, I will turn in my signed dispositions policy. Once my application is completed, I will partake in an admissions interview with one of the admissions officers for the program. -
TExES exams
I plan on taking the practice TExES exams in Spring 2020. As long as I score the required 75 or above, I will sign up to take the TExES exams in Fall 2020. I will already be admitted in to the Teacher Education Program and starting my education minor classes. -
Grade Point Average
Currently, I have a 4.0 GPA at Texas Woman's University. I have made the chancellor's list every semester I have attended. I would like to maintain this GPA throughout the rest of my interdisciplinary studies. If my grades drop, I will be disappointed in myself. I have a one and a half year old at home and another baby due in May. It will be a difficult journey, but I believe in myself, and I know I can do it. -
Student Teaching
As long as I stay on track with my degree plan, I will be doing my student teaching in Spring 2021 and graduating May 2021. Student teaching will definitely be a nerve-racking experience, but I am excited to participate in hands-on experiences with the students.
