John Randall and Harry Boots invented the cavity Magneutron tube at Birmingham University in England. The Magnetron tube became popular during World War II because the micro wave was used by Allied forces of Europe and America to detect signals of the Nazis. The accident
Percy Spencer is a self-taught electronics wizard who never graduated grammar school. When he was working with the Magnetron tubes for the company called "Raytheon Manufacturing Company", he founded that his chocolate candy bar melted in his pocket and relized that the microwave radiation from the Magnetron tubes heats up the food. After the Raytheon company saw Spencer's work, engineers at Raytheon company went to work on spencer's discovery. The first commercial microwave was invented in 1947. Becoming famous
After the first microwave was invented, people started to modify the microwave to make it lighter, smaller, and better.
