Sugar Act

Revenue-raising act to help pay for American colonies.
Reduced the tax on molasses but tacked on additional taxes.

Stamp Act

Taxed colonists by ordering them to buy special paper, stamps, etc. for legal and formal documents.

Quartering Act

The soldiers were permitted to stay in the colonists' homes without the colonists' consent.

Repeal of the Stamp Act
