The Lost Colony
Walter Raleigh left England with over 100 men to Roanoke Island off the coast of North Carolina. They were not nice to the native people and did not get any help. They didn't have enough supplies and had to leave back to England. They sent more people to Roanoke including women and children, but the leaders had to go back to England for supplies. They returned two years later to learn that all the people disappeared and no one is sure what happened. -
