There was 3 stars lined up next it. the next night, the 3 stars were on the opposite side. Turns out these stars were moons! The Catholic Church was very angry with Galileo. George Stephenson's Steam Train
The speed limit of trains use to be 14 miles! George Stephenson broke the limit! George's work was coal-mining. At his free time, George would study engineering. He wanted to make the first train that would transport people. Everyone was concerned about all the dangers. Explosions, animals scared to death,etc. Despite the concerns, George made a train and demonstrated with a passenger. The train reached 24 miles. -

Marie Curie discovered all different kinds of radiation. Radium was put to the use of a cancer treatment. Sadly this radiation could be too much for the human body. That's how Marie Curie died. Too much radiation is dangerous. That's why when you get a x-ray taken, they put a black sheet over the part that they don't need. If you get radiation sickness, you will most likely feel tired and depressed. That's exactly how Marie Curie felt. -

Wright Brothers weren't the first ones to invent the plane. They just made better planes. Wright Brothers owned a bike shop in Ohio. They were good mechanics. No wonder that their plane was amazing! The studied how birds flied to create the planes. The Wright Brothers had their first flight at NOrth Carolina. The flight only lasted 12 seconds! Luckily, with a lot more improvement, the brothers made planes that lasted longer and could hold more than 1 person. -
