Nagy is beheaded for treason against the soviet union. Janos Kadar is the leader of hungary since his kidnapping. -

Janos Kadar introduced and put liberal bills into affect. Political prisoners and church leaders are freed, farmers and industrial workers given increased rights. -
Grosz comes to power
Kadar is replaced by Karoly Grosz.Thos caused problems becasue Grosz wanted to go back to the old single party commiunist government. Against the western style democratic government -
