    Poland's first attempt at the Olympics was in 1924. Poland competed in cycling, men's team pursuit - Jozef Lange, Jan Lazarski, Tomasz Stankiewicz and Franciszek Szymczyk won a silver metal. Adam Królikiewicz won a bronze metal in Equestrian, individual jumping. Poland also participated in Pole vault, Decathlon, 100m sprint, 1500m, 800m, 1500m, 400, 800, 100, long jump, 400m, 5000, 100, 200, Discus throw, Javelin throw, 100m 200th 5000m, 3000m steeplechase and 300m team.

    In 1928 Poland Halina Konopacka won a gold medal in athletics, Woman's discus throw. Michał Antoniewicz, Kazimierz Gzowski and Kazimierz Szosland won silver medals in Equestrian, team jumping. Michał Antoniewicz, Karol Rómmel, Józef Trenkwald — Equestrian, Team eventing won a Bronze medal. also with two other teams participating in Equestrian and fencing. Other events Poland participated in was 400m, 1500m, 400m hurdles, 800m, 110m hurdles, 4x400m relay, discus throw and long jump.
