Sony a few years later released the playstation slim which had a large difference in size than the playstation 1. -

Sony smashes the record book with the release of the all new playstation 2. The playstation 2 came with all new types of games and even came with a portable hard/flash drive that you could put in cases of some games. Smashing records this became a very popular item. -
Back to the Slim Line
Sony released the playstation 2 Slim Line in 2004 with the old style of the playstation 1 openable top it has a uniqe slimer style of the past and the future. -
Introducing online
Sony smashed even more records with this gaming console introducing cordless controllers and online. Although thier rival Micro Soft beat them to it they set their eyes upon playing with friends. They also made their remotes wireless. -
Slimer
The release of yet another slim playstation with all new capabilities and with a cool new flat black. -
Slim, Slimer, and Slimest
The slimest of them all. Sony released this in late 2012 with an amazing crystal white special edition. -
Welcome to the future.
With this release Sony took a step into the future and made history one again. With a touch screen and a motion sensor on the controller it is an amazing first step into the future.
