The plant starts to produce more of its leaves and may even produce a flower, depending on what type of plant. -
The Plant Produces Fruit
In this next stage, the plant may produce fruit. -
The Plant Releases Seeds
The plant will then drop seeds so that more plants can be made. The wind can also carry these seeds to other places so the plant can grow elsewhere. Birds and bees may also help in the pollination and dispersal of seeds. -
The Plant Dies
Eventually, the plant will die. Maybe because there is not enough air, sunlight, or water feeding it. Or perhaps, the soil has no more nutrients in it. Animals and humans can also harm plants by pulling them, stepping on them, over watering them, or not watering them enough.
