    1. The first step to plant growth in good soil for it to grow in. This is where the plant will get most of its nutrients while growing. Think of soil as a plate, we use plates to hold our food, soil holds food for plants.

    1. The next step is seeds. A seed is a plant in baby form. It does not have its flowers or leaves yet but it must be planted in soil in order to grow into a big plant.

    1. Next, the seed needs to be watered. Water is very important for the seed to be able to grow into a big plant. Just like us, seeds need water too.

    1. Next, a seed needs sunlight to grow as well. The sun provides nutrients that the plant needs to grow and be healthy.

    Then, the seed begins to sprout. The plant sprout is small and only the start of a complete plant.

    Next, is the seeding stage. The sprout begins to develop roots. The roots help absorb the nutrients from the soil.

    Now, the sprout is growing stems and leaves.

    Now, the plant has buds. These buds are the beginning of flowers.

    Finally, the plant is fully grown. It no longer needs nutrients from the soil, but it does need water and sunlight.
