In August of 1998 Arthur J. Rooney passes away after owning the Steelers since the start. Since Arthur J, Rooney passed away the team was passed down to his son Dan Rooney. -
A New Coach
In 1992 Bill Cowher became the new coach, after Chuck Noll had retired. -
Another Super Bowl
In 2009, the Steelers had won their 6th Super Bowl after defeating the Cardinals, the score was 27-23. The Steelers became the first team to win 6 Super Bowl championships. -
