Season 1 Championship
Season 1 ChampionshipThe Season One Championship at Jönköping, Sweden was the first international Lan Tournament organized by Riot. Three North American, three European and two Asian teams were invited to compete in the tournament with a prize pool of $99,500. Fnatic, a European team, won the championship as well as $50,000. -

LoL Season 2 Season 2 Championship at Los Angeles, California! A prize pool of $5 million. With 12 teams from North America, Europe, and Asia, Taipei Assassins from Taiwan, won the tournament and crowned Season 2 Champions. -

Howling Abyss Map released
Howling Abyss The Howling Abyss, a map inspired by the community, is created due to popular request. It introduced a new game mode to players and gave players another way to have fun. This mode is not competitive though. -
All Stars Tournament
All-Stars Shanghai 2013 The All Stars tournament, held in Shanghai, China, takes place on the 23rd of May. 1 team from each region; North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and China compete for the title of All-Stars champions. -

LoL Cinematic Titled "A Twist of Fate", Riot Games created a cinematic to showcase the champions in CG. Highly praised and popular, the cinematic provided the players a better understanding of their favorite characters. -

Season 3 World Championship Season 3's World Championship takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, with 14 teams from North America, Europe, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia! Korea's SK Telecom T1 wins the Summoner's Cup and the prize money of $1 million with an intense match versus China's Royal Club. -
LoL Music Video released
Get Jinxed Titled "Get Jinxed", Riot made a music video for one of their champions released recently. The video provided a storyline for that champion, Jinx, and showcased the world of League of Legends in amazing graphics. -
