  • Pilgrim culture 1600's

    Pilgrims were English people who came to america. They were very religious and respected the churches. They colonized Plymouth and created thanksgiving.
  • Puritan culture

    The puritans were even harsher with religion they wanted to purify the churches and the churches ruled all things.They were one of the major settler groups.Very religious people.
  • Maryland Catholic Experiment

    Lord Baltimore was tired of religious persecution just as many others. He wanted to make a change, so he created something called the religious persecution act and gave religious freedom to the catholic people.
  • Dissent in Massachusetts Bay (Anne Hutchinson)

    There was not much room for any religious disagreement, It was unfaithful to ignore god's work. Anne Hutchinson decided to speak her mind and they called her a threat, she went to trial and was accounted for as guilty then was banished from Massachusetts bay.
