    Charles' birth
    In 1809, on February 12th, Charles Robert Darwin was born to the parents Susannah and Robert Darwin in Shrewsbury, England.
  • Younger Years

    Younger Years
    In 1818, at the age of 9, Charles attained a school for boys, to learn more about what he was interested in like science and History. Following on to his enjoyment in science, at now 13 years of age, Charles decided to build a lab in his garden shed to explore more into nature.

    At 16 years of age, Charles decided to try to become a docter but soon discovered that he hugely despited the sight of gore and then decided it was not for him. He soon moved to cambrige to try to become a vicar just like his father, he soon found that this was to boring and thought it was time wasting; he soon moved to university to study nature and enjoyed this like is was a game.

    Many years after school times, Charles recieved a very important letter from John Henslow to join the H.M.S Beagle and discover the un-discovered Galapagos islands, upon the coast of Equador, to find new animals, rocks and plants; since this was a once in a lifetime oppertunity to achieve his dream, he accepted.....

    The Voyage

    On the everlasting journey (lasted 5 years) Charles soon found that he was extremely sea sick and was poorly for 5 years straight! As reaching the amazing and fascinating Galapagos islands, he dived straight into the adventure by founding the strange species of animal, rocks and plants.

    Death and legacy
    In 1882, on the 19th of April, Charles sadly passed away and 100 years later, we still remember him to this day! we shall all recognise his help on adventuring and tell others about the amazing work he has done. Heart faliure might have killed him but it has not killed him in our world and our hearts. To make sure we remembered him, before he was about to die, he published a book named "The Origin Of Species" all about his discoveries and wonders.
