Where the wild things are
Probably the first book I read by myself -
Dr. Seuss- green eggs and ham
First rhyming book I read -
I spy
Taught me that i like looking at pictures more than books -
Poppleton
The book mentioned a sunroom which I thought was cool and made me want a sunroom -
Goosebumps
Enjoyed reading as a kid -
Magic tree house
Enjoyed this book in elementary school -
Harry Potter
I thought these books were whack and were definitely not fun to read -
The series of unfortunate events
These are the first books that really got me into reading in the fourth grade -
Tony and me
Advanced my reading and vocabulary -
The giver
Enjoyed reading and it had an interesting twist at the end -
Tex
Started to enjoy my brothers SE Hinton books -
Rumble fish
My favorite book at the time -
The outsiders
Book read in 7th grade was lit because we got to watch a movie after we read it. I wasn't a big fan of the book personally. -
Blow
I learned a lot of things from this book, they were probably not good things but it educated me on real life situations -
The hunger games
Read in 9th grade and thought it was an interesting adaptation of a possible future America and its crooked government -
Perks of being a wallflower
Weird book I didn't really like it -
NA book
This book helped me get through bad times and educated me on self help stuff -
The great gatsby
The book intrigued me because it was fast paced with a lot of partying and crazy drama -
1984
It was another book about crooked and controlling governments but has a little too much science fiction for me. -
The catcher in the rye
I didn't like this book at all because at first you think he's going to do some awesome crazy stuff while he's alone for a week or so but then he just acts like a beezy and complains and whines for the whole book. -
Hamlet
Although it's considered a classic I do not like this book. The story and metaphors are good but the language is dated. It's basically like reading a different language or an old person trying to understand today's slang.
