By working part time, I can get a head start on paying for my student loans late in high school -
Starting Senior Year
I will be in my senior year at Hartley in Columbus, OH, applying for colleges and still living with parents. I will be working a part time job. -
Cosigning on a Credit Card
Because i will not be 21 in 1 year, I will cosign with my dad, who has a very good credit score, to get the benefits of his card. -
Paying for Little Expenses
As a senior in high school, I will not be independent but there is stuff I am responsible for paying for, such as gas money, clothes, a gym membership, golf related equipment/sports equipment, almost everything other than food, rent, and tuition at Hartley. -
Financing a Car
I will set up a car payment on a cheap car and take out a loan to build very good credit on a loan I know I can pay off easily while in high school working part time. -
Getting a Used Car
I will be getting a cheap, used car within the next year so I don't have to share two cars with my mom and dad, who both work at very different places.
