3:20 AM; USS Condor
Around 3:20 AM, a submarine is spotted about 50 yards away for Pearl Harbor. It's 2 miles away from the Pearl Harbor entrance. People at Pearl Harbor are confused, knowing that submarines shouldn't be in the area. -
6:45 AM; USS Ward attacks
Japanese midget submarine Condor, moves in and attempts to attack USS Ward, but doesn't succeed. US destroyer Ward then attackes and hits the waterline of the submarine, and Condor then sinks. -
7:40 AM; First set of Japanese Planes spotted by Pearl Harbor
183 Japanese fighters, bombers, and aricraftera take the first flight towards Pearl harbor to start their attack. -
8:10 AM; USS Arizona explodes
A bomb is set down to the USS Arizona, with around a million pounds of gunpowder, killing around 1,000 men. In 9 minutes, USS Arizona was to the bottom of the water. -
8:50 AM; USS Nevada
USS Nevada goes off into the open sea to try to attack, but Japanese bomb USS Nevada, doesn't sink, but grounds herself off Hospital Point. -
8:54 AM; Second wave of Japanese planes attack
The second wave had about 167 fighers and bombers attack Pearl Harbor. The Japanese attack battleship Pennsylvania, and the dry docks. -
7:55 AM; Japanese big attack
The big attack begins around Amry Forces Wheeler field, which is north of Peal Harbor. Japanese were hoping to destroy American warplanes on ground. A torpedo then hits USS Nevada, the sinks into the sea. Two bombs hit the Vestal, but does not sink. USS West Virginia gets hit with 6 bombs, getting destroyed and in flames and also killing about 105 people. Two torpendos then hit USS California, this ship slowly sunk a couple days later. USS Oklahoma got attacked after, and sunk. Many killed. -
9:30 AM; Bomb blows up USS Shaw
The bow of the USS Shaw had been destroyed and damaged. in July of 1941, the bow gets fixed and back to running. This was known as one of the most popular explosions during Pearl Harbor. Except for three ships on the day of December 7, 1941 other ships that were sunken or damaged will run again. -
10:30 AM; Hospitals Filling
Hospitals are filling, with horribly wounded people, even severly burned. For all the men, the nurses can only give them morphine to help the pain. To indicate that, the nurses put a M on their forehead. Death rate is now around 2,390. -
1:00 PM ; Japan heads home
Japanese head back home. With the war that follows this attack, the US navy goes back and attacked every single one of the Japanese aircrafts and battleships. In 1945, Japan signs the surrender document, amoung the US warships in Tokoyo Bay will be a part of the attack, the USS West Virgina.
