I was 3 years old when I was first learning to Read and Write. I was practicing tracing my letters on worksheets and reading short sentences. -

In elementary school, we had specials every week. One of our specials was to go visit the media center where we were able to check out a book for a week. -
Playing Grammar Games in School Computer Lab
Our classrooms had computers for the students to use. One of the computer games that we were able to play was a grammar and spelling game. You practiced typing on the keyboard while learning to spell words. -
Learning to Read and Write in Cursive For The First Time
For one whole school year, we had to only write in cursive as well as learn how to read cursive. It was challenging but a skill worth knowing. -
Completing a Complete Book Series
When I was 11 years old, I completed the whole Junie B Jones series. -
Presenting A Book Report To My Class
In my middle school english class, we had were given a challenging book to read and present to the class. I remember being very nervous about this assignment because the book was the most challenging novel I had read yet. -
Middle School Writing Club
In middle school, I joined a creative writing group to help me preform better in my class. It helped me become a better writer and allowed me to be creative in a new way. -
High School AP Language Class
I was placed in a college level english class while in High School and it was one of my toughest classes ever. Everything I had learned about writing papers and understanding text was tossed away and I had to start from scratch. In the end I learned a lot from the class and was helpful despite how hard it was. -
