Lotus Eaters Part 2

1200 BCE

Odysseus knew the minute they ate the lotus his men would soon forget what they were doing and why they were doing it. They would soon forget all about their homeland and they would forever want to stay in the land that they were in instead of getting back to their homeland. But Odysseus quickly got him and his men away from the Lotus eaters before any of his men could eat the lotus. This show just how much Odysseus is actually willing to do for the sake of his crew and for his men.

Lotus Eaters

1200 BCE

Shortly after Odysseus arrived back from troy he stumbled across a place named Malea where the current had been running so fast it drifted him and his men deeper and deeper into sea until they got close to the lotus eaters. At first when they first encountered the lotus eaters they had no intention on being harmful to Odysseus or his men. At least that's what they thought. The Lotus Eaters began offering lotus to Odysseus and his men to drink but odysseus knew the minute they drank the lotus.
