The Age of Exploration began in 1487. The people wanted to explore as much as they could and to discover new trading troutes. They traded often with China, for example spices. The trading controlled the trade routes in that area. -

Asante
The Asante Kingdom originated in 1670 in the land that is now known as Ghana. Around that time, a military leader named Osei Tutu gained control of a trading city and neighboring people. This is how the Asante Kingdom slowly had come to be. Shortly after, Asante defeated Denkyera by saying how their kingdom was linked through spiritual bonds and his right to rule had come from heaven. Osei Tutu and government officials made an efficent bureacracy. They often traded with their rival, Europeans. -

Industrial Revolution
The industrial revolution all began with Arkwright's invention known as the spinning machine. England became overtaken by factories all producing fabric with the use of this new invention. Many people wanted this fabric in order for them to become wealthier and gain more power. -
Arkwright's Water Frame
Arkwright's innovation to make clothes quicker was the beginning of the industrial revolution. Without his invention, the revolution would have never occurred. So, in my opinion, this is a very imperative and necessive invention. -
Origin of Species
In 1859, Darwin wrote a book called "On the Origin of Species". The book talks about how all living organisms orginated and how they evolved as a whole. -
Social Darwinism/ Surviival of the Fittest
Social Darwinism was brought upon by racism. Survival of the fittest is basically natural selection where those inviduals who obtain the most desired traits are more likely to succed and survive with more ease than those with the less desired traits. Social Darwinists were considered as more fit than others. -
