Charles Darwin published a book called, On the Origins of Species, in 1859. This book explains that all living organisms to become how they are now had to go through the process of evolution over millions of years. -

Everything living needs to find a way to survive. The organisms with the best attributes allowing them to survive, those genes get passed onto offspring. People would relate the idea of “survival of the fittest” to war and economics, called Social Darwinism. War brought progress to nations by picking out the weak nations. -
