    This is an acceptable timeline for completion of paramedic school and testing for the NREMT exam. Variation is possible by sevreral months in either direction. The maximum allowable time is 3 years from the first date of the cohort. Application needs to be made to OEMS to be granted a 6 moth extension, which is how 3 years is possible.
