The ozone layer was discover by Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson in 1913. The properties of the ozone layer were investigated by British Meteorologist.

G.M.B. Dobson set up a worldwide network of ozone monitoring stations. They still operate as of now.

Beggining of the Depletion of the Ozone

Folkore took the first measurements in 1985. Soon the NSF-funded study founded that there were chlorofluorocarbons (CFC's) that were dangering the world.
