    Type A Clostridium botulinum, In this outbreak 28 people got sick in Peroria, Illinois from sauteed onions served on a patty melt sandwich at the Skewer Inn Restaurant located inside Northwoods Mall; no deaths came of the incident.

    Listeria monocytogenes,(LA, California ) This california outbreak occured when pasteurized milk used to make mexican style cheese was adulterated with non-pasteurized milk by a Jalisco Mexican Projects inc. Cheese caused 142 cases of Listeriosis. 52 deaths, 19 still births, 10 infant deaths.

    (Salmonella enterica) (Melrose Park, Illinois) Hillfarm Dairy a company in illinois was shut down after being traced as the source of this outbreak ; tests found contamination of unpast and pastuerized milk as the reason for the illness and as testified by several victims. As a result deaths and over 16,000 people were poisoned in states such as Indiana, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.)
