    George Crum made the potato chips in Saratoga Springs, New York. The one and only reason why he invented the chips, were because one picky customer asked for thinner fries. Fries aren't really supposed to be thin but Crum did it anyways. He made it thinner and the customer still wasn't pleased, so he made it even thinner. There it was, at his own restaurant the potato chip was born. If Crum didn't do what that customer asked him to do, there would be no chips on the side with burgers...

    Joseph Gayetty invented the toilet paper in Massachusetts. Before the actual toilet paper was created, people used flat sheets of paper, leaves, then "up-graded" to paper from a mail order catalogs. This invention grew as the years went on because if there were no such things as toilet paper we would have to wipe with leaves, paper, or even our hands.(what 18th century used) So good thing Joseph Gayetty invented the Toilet Paper.

    Dr. John Stith Pemberton invented Coca-Cola on May 8, 1886 in Atlanta Georgia. Atlanta recently said that alcohol consumption was banned, and Pemberton had an alcoholic drink called the French Wine of Coca which everyone loved. After that passed, he had made a new formula for this loved drink to make it non-alcoholic. This formula included sugar, citric acid, essential oils and no alcohol. This change has gotten the new drink, Coca-Cola to the top of the charts where it is the most popular

    Josephine Cochran made the first efficient dishwasher.After Joel Houghton created the "first" dishwasher and failed, Josephine created the plan for the working dishwasher. It was in Shelbyville, Illinois when the dishwasher came out. Josephine didn't make much money at first, she only selled it to hotels at one point. Then after a couple months it started to go into restaurants and only selling for $75-$100 dollars. Later in the dishwasher business, the first dishwasher became a Kitchen Aid
