    Odysseus' beginning Troy
    Troy Odysseus starts at the place the war began. That place is Troy. He now plans on returning home to his family with his men.
  • The island of lotus eaters

    The island of lotus eaters
    Lotus On Odysseus' journey home, he finds him and his crew stuck on an island. The lotus fruit they finds causes slight forgetfulness and sea sickness. This is the first of many problems he and his crew will face.
  • Cyclops Island

    Cyclops Island
    cyclops Odysseus' next stop is cyclops island. He meets Polyphemus, Poseidon's cyclops son. Poltphemus out of curiosity and full of power, eats a member of the crew and threatnes to eat more.. To prevent the crews death, Odysseus blinds the beast, therefor agitating the sea god, Poseidon.
  • Aeolia

    Aeolia
    Odysseus suprisingly finds himself on the brass island where he is anored. The king askes him for news about the war. To his suprise they never leave the island to find info. As a gift, the king gives him a wind bag to get home.
  • Laestygonia

    Laestygonia
    Once Odysseus opened the bag winds, Poseidon directed him to the land of the Laestygonian giants. These beasts tried to eat all of his crew. After they left, there was only one ship left.
  • Circe's island

    Circe's island
    After Odysseus escapes his last visit, he comes apon an island of a sorceress who turns his men into pigs! This woman's name is Circe, a lonely sorceress who trys to put a spell on Odysseus, but failed because ofhe ate a flower. At one point she turns the men back, falls in love with odysseus, and leads them to the Oracle. The Oracle tells them how to get home.
  • The Underworld

    The Underworld
    Odysseus and the rest of his men enter the Underworld. They find one of his men there who died on Circe's island as well as Odysseus' own mother. She thinks he is dead and leads them to the Oracle, where he speaks of Sirens, Charbydis, and Scylla.
  • Apollo's Island

    Apollo's Island
    Now Odysseus and his men have come apon Apollo's island and are starving.There is meat on the island, but the are forbidden to eat it. Although, when Odysseus isn't looking, his men eat a cow anyway. Once the leave the island, he and his crew get sucked into Charybdis, and only Odysseus remains alive.
  • Calypso's Cave

    Calypso's Cave
    After the tragedy with Charybdis, Odysseus finds himself with a lonely sea nymph who wants him for her own. As much as he is treated with care by her, he wishes to be home with his wife. While he is dealing with her, Penelope is recieving unwanted attention and men wanting to marry her. Athena , however, wishes to help Odysseus considering he cant make a new boat cause their the nymph's "friends"
  • King Alcinous Island

    King Alcinous Island
    The time has come once more for odysseus to come home. He builds a raft with permission from Zeus to set off. Sadly, Poseidon makes a wave and shocks the raft to catch on fire. Odysseus passes out, gets saved by mermaids, and meets King Alcinous who gives him gifts and offers him a ride home.
  • Ithaca

    Ithaca
    As Odysseus arives at Ithica with the help of King Alcinous, he is given riches by the king himself. He visits the ancient pig man and comes along his son, who dosen't recognize him. Odysseus goes to see his wife, but finds other men purposing to her. When the time comes for the archery challenge for the throne, Odysseus not only shoots through the rings, but the other men as his son joins him. To make sure it was really him, Penelope tests him to see where his bed. He is now home.
