Odysseus Starts for Home
Odysseus has just faught and won the Trojan War.
The men are going to go home to Ithaca.
But they end up going to Athens and from that piont on they are lost.
The then found a land that was the land of the lotus eaters.
They all had lond thick hair and tried to get Odysseus to eat the lotus flowers.
His crew ate the lotus flowers.
They soon were tired. -
Polyphemus's Island
They now are on there way to the island with the cyclops.
The cyclops ate a few people.
Cyclops had wine from Odysseus.
After that they were drunk and the men stabbed the cyclops in the eye.
Then they sailed away and the cyclops currsed them.
Little did the men knowthe cyclops's dad was Posiden. -
Aeolia
Aeolia Then they are on there way to the brass island.
The man gave them the bag of winds and told them not to open it.
Then Posiden got mad at them so he blew a gust of wind and they wre suprised by it. -

The lastrygonians wre cannibals but Oddysseus didnot know.
The cannibals shove two sailors in his mouth and crushed there bones.
Then he used a bone to pick the laether clothes from between his teeth.

Circe's Island
Circe When they got there they were thankful to see land again.
They did not know that someone lived hear until they saw a house and pigs.
she lead half of the crew go in and eat but they all turned into pigs. -
Hades
Hades They went into the underworld to visit one of there crew members that they lost on circe's island.
They also went dowjn for the oracle.
Wich would tell them what to do next and what will happen. -
Apollo's island
They are on ther way to a cave but instead they decide to camp out for the night on an island full of cows.
The Gods tell Odysseus not to eat the cows so Odysseus.
Odysseus tells his men not to eat them either.
But when Odysseus his his men next they are eating a cow.
Then it gets wierd the already cooked cow starts moaning. -
Caylipso's cave
When Odysseus wakes up from his sleep he sees three women who were wtching him.
The women gave him all the things he wanted.
Such as blankets, water, food, and anything else he wanted.
The other men were trying to get Odysseus's wife to marry them because they thought that he would not come home. -
King Alicinous island
Then he stops on an island were there are lovly people .
He spoke to a king about his lost islan and how no one ever comes.
They listened to all of Odysseus's stories and his home, Ithica.
The people were interested of what he had to say about his journey so far.
They treated Odysseus like royalty even though its the king's island. -
Ithica
Then he is home to Ithica with his family.
He then has a big party because he made it home alive.
Odysseus tells his stories to the people of Ithica.
At first his son didnt reconize him at all.
Everyone was happy to see him at home.
