My aunt is a nurse in Mexico. She has been a nurse for 35 years and is still going. She loves to help people; she is really, really good at her job. She loves to talk about her job.

Summer wedding in Texas, it was very hot but it was a great day!

I found out my Hesi score was not high enough. My friend did not get in and we decided to retake some classes to get more points and retake the Hesi exam
-
I decided to apply again, but we got married over the summer, and my husband got stationed in North Carolina. he went back to NC, we were doing long-distance. I decided to look for nursing programs in NC so we could be together.
-
I found a nursing program in that town. Turns out it was like 5 minutes down the road from where we were living. It is a small town.
-
i was not happy about retaking some classes but it is what it is
-
I was very excited and happy! later that day it hit me and my anxiety levels went up haha
-
It was a nine-month program, very fast-paced. I was happy about my new journey, and we saw our schedule on that first day of school, it was kind of scary
-
Honestly, it was such a learning experience. Clinicals kick everyone's butt, but thankfully, our clinical instructors were pretty chill. We trauma-bonded with the group of girls I hung out with. One of my friends moved to San Diego! So that was nice, and my other friend just graduated from RN school and is now working in the ICU! Proud of her!

This is like an 8 minute drive from where i live on base. it's pretty nice having the beach really close! I love living here
-
Thankfully I passed the first time! When my exam stopped at 75 questions, I froze for a second, I was relieved but at the same time nervous. I flew in like 2 days early just in case my flight got delayed or canceled.

I started working the night shift. It was rough the first month. I was falling asleep at 6 or 7 pm; we couldn't watch movies with my husband because I would fall asleep right away. overall, I loved working the night shift. everyone was super nice and way cooler than the day shift. Best crew ever, night shift in the ER is no joke, but I'm glad I applied.

I had 2 classes that I never took. I considered applying to a national university and took those 2 classes there. My friend Kristen, who worked in Tricity and is currently in the LVN to RN at United University, told me about the school. I'm glad I applied to United University.

I hope to get into a new grad program. I want to work in the ED, but I wouldn't mind the ICU or IR.

i am still doing my research on informatics, but it is not a bad idea.
