Tariff of 1928 aka Tariff Abomination
The Tariff Abomination put a 45% tax on some raw goods and a 38% tax on certain imported goods. This was opposed to some because it seemed to be deemed unconstitutional. It was mainly the Southern States that opposed the Tariff Abomination because they felt it only benefited the North. -
