The Tariffs of 1828 were reduced but not by much. Passed as a solution to fix the conflict the Tariff of 1828 had caused. Enacted while President Andrew Jackson was in office. Did not fix anything. The Tariff of 1832 was another protective tariff that was passed on July 14, 1832 to reduced the existing tariffs as remedy for the conflict created by the 1828 tax referred to as the Tariff of Abominations. -

Compromise Tarrif of 1833
Proposed by Henry Clay, it reduced many of the high tariffs on the imported goods. Said that the tariff would reduce year by year, so that by 1842 the duties on all articles would reach the level of the moderate tariff of 1816, thus ending the Nullification Crisis.
