Blackbeard was a mean, British pirate. He braided his long beard, carried 6 pistols everywhere, and stuck long, lighted matches in his hat. In 1717 and 1718 e attacked the Atlantic Coast of the U.S.A. On November 21st, 1718 he was caught and killed on the coast of North Carolina. -

They picked there because the wind was just right. Their plane had a 5-foot wingspan and flew for about 200 feet. -

Then the men ordered some coffee. Following the restaurant rules, the waiter refused and told the manager. He told them to leave. The students wouldn’t go and stayed until the store closed. -

On May 14th, 1996, Hurricane Hugo destroyed more than 2.7 million square miles of North Carolina. It cost the state a ton of money to repair and rebuild the destroyed land. -
