    The 4 hurricane that happened in Florida in 2004, we're called, Charley, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne. There was also a hard storm called Bonnie that happened before all the other four hurricanes. Bonnie is what started the hurricanes.

    The hurricane made a major conclusion for a big part of the population, economy, and politics of the US. It gave a congressional review for the Engineers, and the showed the failure of the built flood protection system. Experts said that the system should've protected the city and protect New Orleans from hurricane Katrina.

    Explosion at a coal mine

    A gas buildup in Northern Mexico coal mine started an explosion that trapped at least 65 miners. The miners had a limited amount of oxygen, and was suffering in the underground tunnel. The tunnel was 985 feet below ground. That day, all 65 of the miners passed away.

    Blast on oil rig in Gulf

    The rig is called the Deepwater Horizon Rig. The rig is 52 miles south - east of Venice on Louisiana's tip. On April 20th's morning, it was burning up to 70 degrees and was threatening to topple into the water.
