Webster helped to define a national American language outside of British by writing publications for American spelling, grammar, and readers. He wrote some of the first educational lesson plans on morality, patriotism, and religious principal. -

Project Head Start
Head start not only teaches children, but also helps parents with things like finding jobs, getting housing help, and clothing help, along with many other things. Head start parents are usually only at a 3rd grade or lower reading level, so they cannot easily teach the children. Many of these parents have disabilities as well. Low-income families are proven to have a harder time in the education system, so programs like head start help out so much with getting them at the level they need to be. -
