These incredible iron-clad ships fought to a draw, while these ships were made all the wooden ships around the world felt useless. Ther first iron-clad ships to be made. Sadly while the Moniter was swimming around happy as can be, a storm hit, the ship went down. Killing many. A few people noticed this and pulled the ship out of the water. Today they are still putting the Moniter back together. The Merrimack survived, you can see the Merrimack today.

Lee needs boots and food for the soilders. He sends soilders to look for any spare food and shoes anyone can give. While the soilders are walking they spot some UNION soilders! Appomatox Court House part: 2
So Lee really knew he had to think hard. Did he really want to do it? Did he really want to surrender? Finally he made his choice. He realluy didn't want to waste for confederate lives. He wrote a note to Grant. So Grant borrowed a Uniform and rode on his horse as fast as he could to Appomatox Court House. When someone surrenders to Grant he takes EVERYTHING. This time Grant was so amased that the

Confederates kept fighting. He took arms not sidearms but arms. Then flags. This was a big deal because Grant never did this. He rode out of Appomatox Court House and everyone started cheering. Still he ORDERD there would be NO cheering at ALL. So that was the End of the Civil War.

    Appomatox Court House part: 1
Lee surrendered, the war ended. Lee didn't really see the point to torture his men there were barley any soliders for the Confederates (south) that still had boots. Also he didn't have alot of men left. They were either sick of hungry. Lee was sick a few time during the war. Sometimes that because the men would eat anything. Uncooked meat would make them sick and so would not ripe fruits. During Gettysburg Lee ate a unripe fruit.
  • Abraham Lincoln Asassanation

    Abraham Lincoln Asassanation
One of the last pictures taken of Abraham Lincoln. He was shot in the head by John Wilkes Booth. Rathbone (a person who came with Abraham Lincoln to Fords Theatre) Was injured (scraped with the sword John Wilkes Booth brought incase). Honestly I think Booth was CRAZY to shoot the PRESIDENT if he had anger issues he should have learned to tame them. Plus when Booth shot Abraham Lincoln Booth jumped from this thing that looked like a padeio and broke his left leg.
