    He and the rest of his town have noe been almost completely taken over by the hungarian army and they are now being moved and colonized into small ghettos while they wait to be transported elswhere!
  • "Night" pages 20-31

    He and his family were forced onto a train to a concentration camp where on the way to the train, all jewlery and valuables were taken from them and anyone trying to escape was shot dead. On the train there was barely any food and not much water. During the long ride one of the women went insane and started to yell about non-existant fire.
  • "Night" pages 31-48

    They arrive at the conncentration camp in Aushwitsz where the men are separated from the women and the ill are taken to the infirmary or are killed. He and his father lie about their ages so that they will be able to stay together when they get sorted and so that they will not be chosebn for special work. They are put through veerty hot and sanitizing showes before having to run naked through the wind while new prioson clothes are thrown at them.
  • "Night" Pages 48-73

    They are transported to a new camp in a place called Buna where they go through another sanitizing prossess. afterward he sees babies being thrown into the air and used as targets for machine gunners. They soon pass a building where the people that do not cooperate are incinerated. At this camp he and his father endure very harsh treatment from the gaurds and are punished by being whipped and beaten. He soon meets a French girl that helps him and talks to him and they become friends.

    He and his father are separated from each other by camps when they are having their numbers called to tell them whether or not to stay in the camp and his father is told to stay while he is told to leave. His father gives him a knife and a spoon to help him and then he is off to another camp with the usual routine of arrival.
