Bohr's Atomic Model
Influential figure in the field of physics in the 1900s. He proposed a theory for the hydrogen atom where the electrons orbit around the nucleus of the atom in a circular pattern and at different levels. The previous proposed model by his professor, Ernest Rutherford, explained that electrons continually spiraled towards the nucleus whilst shedding protons along the way. His work on the matter received a Nobel Prize for physics in 1922. -
