1913- Bohr's Atomic Model
Niels Bohr is largely recognized for his atomic model and his contributions to the Manhattan Project and invention of the atom bomb.

1922- Nobel Peace Prize
Oddly enough, Bohr and Einstein both received Nobel peace prizes in the same year, in the same field. Nuclear Physics.
Bohr was responsible for discovering the missing element of the periodic table. Number 72, Hafnium. Hafnium is Latin for Copenhagen, his birthplace. -
1928- Complementarity Principle
Bohr's contribution to philosophy is shown by his Complementarity Principle. The principle holds that objects have certain pairs of complementary properties which cannot all be observed or measured simultaneously.
