Discovery of Bohr Model
In 1913, proposed by Danish physicist Niels Bohr that electrons followed a path. Starting in 1904 where atoms where electrons where found inside the nucleus, then in 1911 Rutherford shot alpha particles at gold. Because of the result he found that electrons were not in the nucleus but orbited it at random unknown ways. However in 1913 Bohr had an idea that electrons in fixed orbits around the nucleus. -
Nobel Prize
Niels Bohr won the Nobel Prize in 1922 on an unknown date. He won due to “The Nobel Prize in Physics 1922 was awarded to Niels Henrik David Bohr "for his services in the investigation of the structure of atoms and of the radiation emanating from them." He was in fact nominated a total number of 11 times in 1922. He has been nominated a total number of 22 times. He himself had nominated a total of 25 other scientists. -
