The birth of Nikola Tesla
On 10 July 1856, Nikola Tesla was born in Smiljan of the Kingdom of Croatia, Austrian Empire. He is a Serbian who later lived in the U.S. Since his adolescence, he was very interested in electrical engineering. -
Nikola Tesla’s work in Edison’s company
In 1882, he found his electrical engineering work in Paris at Edison’s company. His job was to install incandescent lamps and later as he had much knowledge in electrical engineering, he renovated motors and electrical generators. -
.Nikola Tesla came to America
Nicolas Tesla came to the U.S. in 1884. Before he also worked at Edison’s company in Paris, as his boss (not Edison) returned to the US. In the United States, he accompanied him and began working at a mechanical factory near New York. -
Period: to
the war of the currents
However, CA won in the end for its high efficiency and economic, it was used throughout the country. In late 1884, Nikola Tesla left Edison’s company because he did not believe that the CC was the best option. He wanted to develop the CA. Nikola Tesla founded Tesla Electric Company and Edison with its partners, General Electric. -
The system of the AC
To fulfill the CA system, Nikola Tesla invented several things. For example, the induction motor (synchronous motor), which is an electric motor based on AC. All the components formed the alternative stream system, and in the end, Nikola Tesla had sold all the CA patents to George Westinghouse Jr., who financed Nikola Tesla. And the AC system is still using to date. -

The study of Tesla wireless transmission
From 1890 to 1904, Nikola Tesla began focusing on wireless transmission. His idea was to use the coils to transmit electricity through air and land. At this time, the only way to transmit electricity was by long wires. For that, Tesla did a series of experiments.
A few years later, Tesla stated that he has not been able to carry out this transmission in a practical way. -
Tesla coils
In 1891, Nikola Tesla patented the Tesla coil which is like a transformer through resonance. This is allowed to create high voltage and high frequency electricities. With that, Tesla’s light was discovered that humans can transmit this light without any harm.
(I think it’s the light that’s been in the movie) -
Tesla radio
Although on the subject of the inventor of radio communication is not clear, but Nikola Tesla demonstrated the first ship controlled by radio communication called "Telautomaton". And the sample had in the year 1898. -
Nikola Tesla`s dead
Nikola Tesla died of an acute myocardial infarction on January 7, 1943, in room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel, New York City (United States).
