Saying no to advertisment
The National Hockey League has decided against placing sponsor logos on jerseys, reports TSN. According to the report, the league is forgoing a possible $120 million annually by not having sponsorships on uniforms. The only advertising on the jerseys is from Reebok, which manufactures the jerseys. Reebok's deal with the NHL ends in 2016.
