In 1970 was the merge of both the "NFL" and "AFL". the two were both in the same path of the fast growing sport football. before the merge the two were considered enemies but had stil played against each other with the teams that they had. -

first game
The first "NFL" game was played between the New England Patriots and the Chicago Bears. The game was televised and watched by many at the stadium. At that time not to many people had a TV so many thought that there were more people there then watching the game on there TV's. -
super bowl
the first super bowl was played with the packers and chiefs. the packers won 35 to 10. -
superbowl 20
super bowl 20 was between the bears and patriots. the bears won just by a field goal in out a minute left of playing time -
superbowl 30
the 1996 superbowl the dallas cowboys and the steelers. the steelers lost 21 to 10. -
super bowl 40
the superbowl was between the steelers and the seahawks. the score was 21 to 10 steelers -
superbowl 42
the superbowl was between the new yoek giants and patriots. the new york giants won 17 to 14. -
super bowl 44
superbowl 44 was played with the saints and colts. the saints won 31 to 17 -
the lockout
the NFL lockout happen because pkayers didnt think they were being payed as much as they were. so the owner of the NFl had a lockout to were there were no training camps practices or anything till later that year when it started back up -
superbowl 45
superbowl 45 was played between the steelers and the packers. the packers won 31 to 25
