Battle of the Yazoo Pass
Battle at Fort PembertonWhile the Union Army was passing through the Yazoo Pass on the Laninia Logan, the Confederate army cut through the pass from the other direction to cut off the Union army from getting to the southern territory of Mississippi. Both the Union and the Confederacy took action and started a fight between the two lasting for four days, but the Union nor the Confederacy won the four day battle because they both retreated from the battle. The battle was in Fort Pemberton on the Yazoo River. -

After the Battle of the Yazoo Pass, the Union army quickly retreated back to their camp in Helena, Arkansas. Neither the Union army nor the Confederate army won the battle due to both armies retreating. -
Battle of Port Gibson
Port GibsonAs the Union army wasnt being secure enough, they left Vicksburg wide open for the Confederate to attack them. The Confederate army attacked the Union army at Port Gibson, Vicksburg just to be defeated due to weakness in utilities and supplies. -

RaymondShortly after the Battle at Port Gibson, the Confederate army again tempted to attack the Union on their way to Raymond. When the Union reached about a mile or so into Raymond, the Confederate army started to fire upon the Union. Only few of Unions soldiers died but the Union again overpowered the Confederate army due to more equipment and more prepared than the Confederate army. -

His job is much easier due to no more guarding and no more loss of sleep. His regiment is about 300 men andis almost full so they will leave to head to New Orleans or ort Hudson. -

Battle of Helena Newton Scott was in the Battle of Vicksburg but later was moved to the Battle of Helena and stayed until the Confederate army had came to Helena. If the army could capture Helena that would mean that the Union could attack Little Rock. Again, the Union army won. -

General DavidsonThe Union is leaving Helena, Arkansas to march through Arkansas and head to Little Rock and maybe Texas. About 5000 troops are going to leave Helena to march with Newton Scott and the other Union men. They are going to meet up with General Davidson and 7000 Cavalry men. -
