Myall Creek Masacre
12 local stockmen were on a hunt for Indigenous people they think stole some cattle. They rode to Myall Creek Station where Anderw Eaton had befriended some Aborigines and gave them shelter. No European people were there at the time. The 12 men came and tied up 28 Aborigines; women, men and even children. They put them in a stockyard where they were beaten brutally, hacked to death and then burnt -
