Texas University shooting
Charles Joseph Whitman kills 16 and wounds at least 30 from a university tower in Texas. Police officers Ramiro Martinez and Houston McCoy shot and killed Whitman in the tower. Whitman had also killed his mother and wife earlier in the day. -
McDonalds shooting
In California, 41-year-old James Huberty, armed with a pump-action shotgun and a handgun shoots and kills 21 adults and children. He started to shoot at a local McDonalds. A police kills Huberty one hour after the rampage begins. -
Columbine shooting
18-year-old Eric Harris and 17-year-old Dylan Klebold kill 12 fellow students and one teacher before committing suicide in the school library. -
Hurricane Katrina
On the Golf coast of the United States there was a 400 mile span that was affecteted by it. Thousands of people were removed from their homes because of the storm. -
Virgnia Tech Shooting
A gunman, 23-year-old student Seung-Hui Cho, goes on a shooting spree killing 32 people in two locations and wounds a number of others on campus. The shooter, Seung-Hui Cho then committed suicide. -
Joplin Missouri tornado
The killed 158 people and injured more than a thousand. The storm packed winds in excess of 200 mph and was on the ground for more than 22 miles. The tornado stayed on the ground so long it created more destruction than normal. -
Movie theater Shooting
Twelve people are killed and 58 are wounded in a shooting at a movie theater. James E. Holmes, 24, is taken into custody outside of the movie theater. -
Sandy Hook shooting
Sandy Hook Elementary School Adam Lanza, 20, guns down 20 children and six adults before killing himself. Police later find Nancy Lanza, Adam's mother, dead from a gunshot wound. The final count is 28 dead, including the shooter. -
Boston Maraton Bombing
At the finish line of the Boston maration there were two explosions. There were two hight pressure cooker explosions. The bombs killed two pelpe and injuring about 264 others. -
Cafa shooting
23 killed - October 16, 1991 - In Killeen, Texas, 35-year-old George Hennard crashes his pickup truck through the wall of a Lubys Cafeteria. After exiting the truck, Hennard shoots and kills 23 people. He then commits suicide. -
Mail shooting
A part-time mail carrier, Patrick Henry Sherrill with three handguns kills 14 postal workers in ten minutes. Then detakes his own life with a bullet to the head. -
911
On September 11th 2001 there was the attack on the twin towers. They planned to hit the towers at about the same time. The highjacked planes were planned out carfully in the attack.
