Possible Indian Enslavement
The Indians were almost put into slavery in the new world colonies but the idea was repelled by the colonists because they didnt want to depend on slave labor this is significant because they were almost put in the same position African Americans -
Trade and Intercoarse act
Congress Passed the Indian Trade and Intercoarse Act whitch stated.All Indian and non-indian interaction was put under Federal Control. The significance to this is that it diminishes the Indians rights. -
Native American Land lost
Because of the Treaty of Fort Wayne the native American tribes Delaware, Potowatomi, Miami Eel River Miami Nations were Brought together to cede 3 million acres along the Wabash River. This was done so there was more room for the europeans to settle. -
Indian Removal Act
Andrew Jackson passed a bill to congress to relocate all Native Tribes to west of the mississippi. The Act was put into action on may 28th. Thousands of Natives were forcibly removed. For the purpose of giving land to the whites. -
Johnsons Veto
President Johnson veto of the civil rights bill gave rights to all people born in the states except Indians. It shows that the natives were thought of lesser than Slaves. -

There were 100 Indian people who met to create the organization To moniter and protect the native rights. This was important because it was there first attempt at equal right and 1st organization formed. -
