On July 8th 1776 bells rung to mark the reading of the declaration of independence. The original bell is located in Philadelphia, this picture is a replica that it is located at the Utah State Capitol building. -

Originally there was a flag kowned as the continental flag. This flag is the first to represent the thirteen United States. The 13 stripes prepresent each states. Bue represents a new constellation. Flag Day is observed on June 14. -
